David Bailey Shoot

It looks like now the David Bailey shoot will not happen. I was told he is too busy this year and the best of luck with my project.
I dont know what to think of this. Because this book is supposed to be the best and most iconic photographers in the world, what do you do when one of them says no?
Is the collection incomplete ? If any of you were to buy a book that was ,say , the best Golfers in the world and Tiger wood wasn't in it, because he didnt want to be in it, would you take it seriously?

    I don't think that this should affect the project.

    You could have an epilogue it the book: The Ones Who Got Away.

    Also, new photographers are emerging all the time from the background and establishing themselves as influential.

    For instance, is Chase Jarvis in the book? Or Joey L?

    The absence of David Bailey also leaves the door open to a sequel.
